Services are reusable templates
Services define the work you sell most often. Each service has a required name, optional description, default price, and default duration in minutes.
Only active services can be used for new schedules. Archived services remain available for history but are kept out of new scheduling choices.
Create recurring schedules from a customer
- Open the customer detail page.
- Choose the Schedules tab.
- Select the property and active service.
- Choose the interval: weekly, biweekly, every 3 weeks, monthly, or custom days.
- Set the start date and preferred day or custom day count where required.
- Optionally set an approximate time, price override, notes, end date, and assignee.
- Save the schedule so MowNext can generate upcoming job instances.
Generated jobs
MowNext materializes recurring schedules into upcoming scheduled jobs. The app currently keeps the route window focused on upcoming work rather than generating an unlimited future calendar.
Editing schedule fields that affect future work resets future scheduled instances and regenerates them. Completed and past jobs are not rewritten.
Pause or end a schedule
- Pause a schedule when service should stop temporarily. Future scheduled instances are removed or regenerated around the pause.
- End a schedule when the recurring work is finished. Future instances after the end date are removed.
- Use customer notes or schedule notes to explain why a schedule was paused or ended.
One-off jobs
Use a one-off job for work that should appear on the route once without creating a recurring schedule. Choose the customer, property, service, date, time, assignee, duration, and price.
One-off jobs are useful for cleanups, extra cuts, special visits, and catch-up work.
Assignments
Owners on a Crew-tier account can assign schedules and one-off jobs to active users. Crew members only see jobs assigned to them.
