The two implemented roles

  • Owner: full account access for customers, services, estimates, invoices, messages, team, route management, billing, and reports.
  • Crew: field access for assigned route work, assigned job details, job start/complete/skip actions, photos, and time tracking when enabled.

Owner navigation

Owners use the main app navigation for Route, Customers, Estimates, Invoices, and Messages. The user menu includes Team, Services, Hours, and Billing when those areas are available to the account.

Crew navigation

Crew members are intentionally kept focused on field work. A crew member can open the route for their assigned jobs and open job details for work assigned to them.

If a crew member tries to open a job that is not assigned to them, the app does not expose that job.

Plan gates that affect permissions

  • Free supports up to 20 active customers and one user.
  • Solo supports unlimited customers and online payments, but still one user.
  • Crew supports up to 5 users, SMS, team invites, and time tracking.
  • Crew+ supports up to 10 users and a higher included SMS segment cap.
  • If paid access becomes inactive, paid features may be blocked until billing is fixed.

Owner/admin first setup

For a clean launch, have an owner complete the setup path before inviting crew: customers, properties, services, schedules, then assignments. Crew users should not need to create office records to do their route.
