Estimate list and statuses

Estimates are owner-only. The list can be filtered by status and customer. Implemented statuses include draft, sent, viewed, accepted, declined, and expired.

Create an estimate

  1. Open Estimates and choose to create a new estimate.
  2. Select the customer and property.
  3. Set the expiration date. The default is 30 days out.
  4. Add service-backed or custom line items with quantity and unit price.
  5. Add customer notes or terms if needed.
  6. Save the estimate as a draft.

Send an estimate

Sending an estimate emails the customer a public estimate link. Sending requires a usable customer email address. If the customer has bounced or unsubscribed from email, the app blocks sending instead of silently failing.

When a sent estimate is opened from the public link, MowNext can mark it viewed.

Customer response

  • Customers can view the estimate without logging in.
  • Customers can accept by entering a signature name.
  • Customers can decline with an optional reason.
  • Expired estimates can no longer be accepted through the public link.
  • The operator is notified when a customer accepts or declines.

Convert accepted estimates

Accepted estimates can be converted to a recurring schedule when the estimate has a property and a service-backed line item. The conversion flow lets you choose the service, interval, preferred timing, start date, and price.

Converted schedules include a note tying the schedule back to the estimate number.
