Use this setup order

MowNext works best when you set up office data before trying to run the route. Services and customer properties become the building blocks for schedules, jobs, estimates, and invoices.

  1. Create your account and sign in with the email magic link.
  2. Add customers and at least one property for each active customer.
  3. Create your service list, such as weekly mow, biweekly mow, cleanup, or edging.
  4. Create recurring schedules from each customer record, or add one-off jobs for single visits.
  5. Open Route to review the generated daily jobs, reorder them, and start field work.
  6. Complete jobs with notes, photos, and invoice sending when you are ready to bill.

Sign in without a password

MowNext uses email magic links instead of passwords. Enter your email, open the link from the same device or browser when possible, and you are signed in.

Team invites also use magic links. Invite links expire after 15 minutes and are one-time use, so send a fresh invite if a crew member waits too long.

What owners can do first

  • Customer and property setup is owner-only.
  • Service setup is owner-only.
  • Estimate and invoice work is owner-only.
  • Route review is available to owners, while crew members see their own assigned work.
  • Team invites, SMS, and time tracking require a Crew or Crew+ plan.

What happens after schedules are created

Recurring schedules define the rule. MowNext materializes upcoming job instances from those schedules so the Route page has real jobs to show.

Future scheduled jobs are regenerated when you make structural schedule changes. Past work and completed jobs are left alone.

Route looks empty?

Make sure the customer has a property, the service is active, and the recurring schedule start date falls within the next generated route window.
