ZTRs are the dominant commercial residential mower in the US. The ability to spin in place dramatically reduces the time spent turning around. Decks typically run 42–72 inches. Stand-on ZTRs add maneuverability for tight properties.
Why it matters for lawn care operators
Upgrading from a 36" walk-behind to a 52" ZTR roughly doubles the per-hour throughput on open lawns. The financing on a $9k–$14k ZTR is usually paid back in one season for a full-time operator.
